Dear ITC-Asia Participants,

On behave of the Organization Committee of ITC-Asia 2017, we would like to thank you for your participation to this first-ever conference. Your participation is certainly the most important factor to the success of this event.

Owing to the fact that Taipei’s weather may be affected by Typhoon Talim during Sep. 13~15, we would like to explain our policy to this unexpected situation as follows:

1.　Since ITC-Asia is collocated with SEMICON-Taiwan in Nangang Exhibition Hall of Taipei, all conference programs of ITC-Asia will be carried out as scheduled, unless SEMICON-Taiwan is cancelled, in which case, we will announce the information as early as we can.
2.　The cancellation of our programs, if any, would be on a day-by-day base, i.e., each day may be cancelled or not depending on that day’s situation. We will not cancel the whole conference.
3.　As the costs of venue, manpower and facilities that we have paid for this conference are not refundable, we are sorry to tell you that the registration fee that you have paid is also not refundable even when some programs of this conference are cancelled. However we will do our best to make up with this, such as providing as many PPT files of the missing talks as we can on the web site.
4.　For those who cannot attend the conference due to problems of public transportations, we are seeking the possibility of recording the presentations and will make them available to these persons.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that may be caused, and hope that you can understand our efforts to resolve this special situation.
